My friend Elise helped me whip up this cute little mimosa bar for our New Year’s Eve brunch last year and I can’t believe that I’m just now sharing it with you guys! Today was the perfect occasion though because I’m helping hostess an online baby shower for one of my blogging friends that you’ll see at the bottom. If you never saw my Cirque du Baby (circus themed) baby shower that my amazing friends and family threw for me back in the day, make sure to check it out!
I loved this concept because it is a simple hostessing tip that makes you look like a rockstar. Simply cut up fruit, pour some juices in glass containers and corral it all together on a cute little tin tray and call it a day! This minimal effort mimosa bar gets a great reaction from the crowd. It’s a fun conversation piece to talk about what you put in your mimosa or maybe some people will even choose to do just a fruity champs or water.
Suggested Items for Your Mimosa Bar:
- Champagne (duh!)
- Orange Juice
- Pomegranate Juice
- Strawberry Lemonade
- Fruit such as Kiwis, Raspberries, Strawberries, Blackberries, Peaches
Dress-now on mega sale! // Earrings // Shoes
Now, what shall we wear for a baby shower? I decided to go the comfy route… I loved rocking this maxi dress all summer and plan to take it into fall with my military style jacket or denim jacket. Y’all loved when I did a quick style tip of the day in my last post about pulling together an outfit, so I thought we’d keep the momentum going.
Today’s Mom Style Tip:
Invest in staple pieces each season that you know will last you and then throw on fun bargain finds to mix it up! This dress is in the little bit more of a splurge range for me. (Although now it’s on huge SALE!) I choose pieces I want to splurge on that I know I can transition well through seasons, I’ll wear almost every day…like denim in the winter, or a great OTK boot and once I hit my budget, the rest are sale finds or more affordable trendy finds to spice up my staple pieces.
If you want me to help you find more mega sales like this dress, don’t forget to sign up for my email list and follow me on Instagram where I share daily deals in both places and share my most up to date posts!
