Iced Teagarita

Summery Sips: Iced Teagarita

Everything comes alive in the summer with longer days, crowded patios, and the great outdoors. It feels footloose and fancy free with a beautiful sunset that can not be denied each night. Whether it’s a pool, the lake, or any body of water for that matter beckons to me to enjoy water sports, sunsets and the refreshing cool they offer. One of my favorite water lover’s pastimes is laying out on the beach while enjoying country music with friends and family, and sipping on a summery drink!

I was excited when Jose Cuervo provided a new muse for me to try out this summer. It’s a great added flavor to the Cuervo classic. It’s the convenience of a pre-mixed iced tea and a margarita all in one. It is a burst of lime in your mouth with a tasty sweet tea blend. For a southern girl, this compliments my roots and my taste buds all at the same time!  The Iced Teagarita consists of a classic lime flavored margarita, blended with Jose Cuervo Tequila and premium orange liqueur, then combined with refreshing iced tea. This is such a fabulous drink to add to a relaxing day and enjoy!

I like the convenience of pouring it over ice when you are busy entertaining friends or family.   It’s a delicious and easy treat to bring along to the lake or beach over the weekend, while avoiding the same old boring drinks.

If you want to add your own twist on the teagarita, I’d recommend these few different options:

  • Make a simple syrup from strawberries or peaches and add it in.
  • Add a squeeze of lemon and some honey.

Summery Iced Teagarita drink is just a simple pour and serve drink. Great for pool or lake
