Whether it is modern day America or peering back into the 1920’s, there’s something special about getting a note in the mail. Even with all the modern marvels of email, snap chats, text messages and Instagram, a hand written note or card in the mail always puts a smile on my face. This act of thoughtfulness never fails to disappoint.

I am very lucky that my husband is a great writer. I have always loved finding his cursive hand-written notes on my pillow, in my purse or in my seat over the years from when we were dating to now. Those notes are some of my most treasured in my drawer full of notes from best friends, my parents, grandparents and other meaningful people in my life. And, that’s just the point…the fact that most women have notes and cards saved in a special box or drawer goes to show that a card goes a long way to show someone you care.

That’s why when I got the opportunity to write about Hallmark’s new Buzzworthy cards I jumped at the opportunity. I love cards that evoke an emotion whether it be tears, laughter, or joy! I got to pick out a card for one of my best friends for her birthday and I liked these two so much that I couldn’t quite pick…which one is your favorite?

They are both such cute card options and they both match my birthday bag perfectly! I bought both because I figured whichever one I don’t use I can spoil another friend with later on. There are quite a few options as you can see below at your local Walmart. One thing that I appreciate about buying cards at Walmart is that for every 5 cards you buy, you can earn a reward.

I love sending cards to people, it’s such a sweet sentiment. I used to be a snail mailer and loved getting handwritten cards and letters in the post. I can’t say I’m a fan of those style of cards, I prefer something a little prettier with a more heartfelt message but yay for handwritten love instead of typed!

Funny cards. And I agree with the squirrel. Or chipmunk. Or … anyway, I agree.
