After what feels like a L O N G week of waiting, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finally open for the public to shop! I hope you have all had a chance to look through my top 25 favorite items from the Nordstrom Sale, all the favorite items I shared through Instagram, the dupes we found for anyone on a budget, and my Nordstrom shop page where I am sharing ALL my favorite finds broken down by category in widgets. By now, I hope you know EXACTLY what you’re shopping for and can snag it fast – I do think a lot of items that haven’t already sold out will sell out quickly. If there is something you want, just remember everything ships for free and can be returned for free. It’s better to get it while you can and send back than wait until it’s too late!
In this post, I will be breaking down every top and dress my assistant, Alissa, tried on the day the sale went live! I will share the sizing info she provided, whether or not it is nursing/maternity friendly, the price point, my opinion of the item – everything you need to know! 1. BP. Plaid Shirt
This is a favorite from the NSale! Alissa is wearing a size medium in the black and white (normally in a size small) because her store did not have size small and a size small in the red. The medium works for an oversized fit. It is long enough to cover your booty, if pairing with leggings, and to front tie or tuck. Definitely nursing friendly with the functional buttons. Could be bump friendly if you size up. This plaid top is available in 6 colors. I ordered a size small in the green color AND a size small in the black and white once it was restocked! Available in 6 colors. Grab fast while it is restocked – I think it will sell out again! Alissa has this top paired with these jeans and these leggings.
2. Free People January Tee
Alissa is wearing a size small and would say the top is TTS – if in between sizes, size DOWN. The sleeves are long on Alissa and the top overall is a more loose/flowy fit but perfect for pairing with leggings! Definitely bump and nursing friendly. This top is available in 5 colors. Alissa has this top paired with these jeans.
3. BP. Raw Edge V-Neck Tee
This basic v-neck tee is available in 8 different solid/stripe colors! Alissa is wearing a size small and the fit is TTS. Size up for a bump and material is loose enough to nurse. This top is such a good basic to pair with jeans or leggings. You can style so many different ways and it is loose enough to tie in the front. If you see it available in your size and the color you want, grab it fast! If this tee is sold out in your size, this one is VERY similar! Alissa has this tee paired with these moto leggings.
4. BP. Raw Edge Scoop Neck Tee
This is the long-sleeve version of the top above! It is available in 4 different solid/stripe colors. Alissa is wearing a size small and would say this top is TTS. Size up for a bump and material is loose enough to nurse. This top is such a good basic to pair with jeans or leggings. You can style so many different ways and it is loose enough to tie in the front. If you see it available in your size and the color you want, grab it fast as some sizes/colors have already sold out! If this top is sold out in your size, this one is VERY similar! Alissa has this tee paired with these jeans.
5. Caslon Basic Tee
Alissa is wearing a size small and would say the tee is TTS. This material is a little more clingy but still loose enough to tie in the front. We prefer this BP. tee more than this one and it is a little cheaper! However, this is a great alternative if the BP. tee is sold out in your size. This tee is available in 12 solid/pattern colors. Alissa has this tee paired with these jeans.
6. Caslon Long Sleeve Crewneck Tee
Alissa is wearing a size small and would say this fits TTS. It is a much longer and snug fit than the BP. long sleeve tee and we prefer the BP. option over this one – it is a little cheaper too! However, this is another great alternative if the BP. tee is sold out in your size. This tee is available in 8 solid/stripe colors. Alissa has this tee paired with these jeans.
7. Wayf Lace Up Ruffle Cami
Alissa is wearing a size small and said the fit is odd – the v neck comes down pretty low, restricting your bra options, but the rest of the top fits tighter. Definitely not bump or nursing friendly. If looking for a cami option, I would choose this more affordable option! Alissa has this top paired with these jeans.
8. Chloe & Katie Bell Sleeve Wrap Top
Alissa is wearing a size small and said this top fits TTS. It is very nursing friendly and would work early pregnancy. It is available in the black and white stripe and a floral print. Alissa has this top paired with these jeans.
9. Chelsea28 Lace Yoke Top
Alissa is wearing a size small in this sleeveless blouse but would say it is too big and needed an XS. Size down if ordering and non-maternity and get your true size if you are wanting to fit a bump! This top is nursing friendly because of the flowy style. It is available in 4 really pretty fall colors! Another great option for layering under cardigans! Also a great transition piece you could wear now AND in the fall. Alissa has this top paired with these jeans.
10. Halogen Bell Sleeve Knit Top
Alissa is wearing a size small in this top but would prefer an XS due to the length in the body and sleeve. Perfect for you tall girls! This top would work with a bump due to the stretchy material and the length but it is not nursing friendly. It is available in 4 solid/stripe colors. Alissa has this top paired with these jeans.
11. Hinge Mixed Lace Peplum Top
Alissa is wearing a size XS but would prefer a size small – get your true size in this top. This top buttons up the back and would pair perfectly with high-waisted jeans. Also a great transition top from summer to fall! It is not nursing or bump friendly. Available in white and black. Alissa has this top paired with these jeans.
12. Halogen V Neck Tunic
Alissa is wearing a size small and would say this tunic fits TTS. It is a very long option for taller ladies! She tucked the front because it looked too long. Great to cover booty in leggings! Would work with a bump and maybe nursing friendly due to the v-neck and looser material. Available in 7 solid/stripe colors. Alissa has this tunic paired with these jeans.
13. BP. Lace Trim Satin Cami
Alissa is wearing a size small so it is TTS. Available in several color options. Bump friendly if you size up but not really nursing friendly due to the fit and material. This cami is great to have to layer under sweaters, especially in the south when it is still warmer! Grab fast if restocked because it will sell out! Alissa has this cami paired with these jeans.
14. Socialite Thermal Henley Top
This henley was my favorite of all the henley/thermal tops from the sale. Alissa is wearing a size small in the beige color and I ordered a size small in the charcoal gray – TTS. I would say this top is bump friendly if you size up and possibly nursing friendly if you size up for a looser fit. Alissa has this top paired with these jeans.
15. Madewell Gingham Side Button Popover Shirt
Alissa is wearing a size small in this blouse but would recommend sizing down if not pregnant! Functional buttons in the front and on the side for nursing and expanding with a bump! While this top is a little higher in price, it is a staple for fall – especially if you are pregnant! It was super popular during the early access so if it is in stock in your size, grab it fast! Alissa has this top paired with these jeans.
16. Caslon Twist Front Long Sleeve Tee
Alissa is wearing a size small in this long sleeve top but could easily size down for a closer fit. Could fit a bump if size up! Not really nursing friendly. Available in 5 solid/stripe colors. Grab it fast if your size is available! Alissa has this tee paired with these jeans.
17. 1901 Ruffle Sleeve Top
Alissa is wearing a size small in this top. It is a more restricting fit/material so I would not recommend with bump or nursing. This is another great transitional piece as it could be worn now and also in the fall! It is available in 6 colors. Alissa has this top paired with these jeans.

Alissa is wearing a size small and would say this top fits TTS. It is both bump and nursing friendly with functional buttons. It is long enough in the back to cover your booty and wear with leggings! Alissa has this top paired with these jeans.

Alissa is wearing a size medium because her store did not have a size small or XS. She would recommend sizing down or sticking with your true size for an oversized fit. Available in 3 colors. Perfect to cover your booty in leggings, will work with a bump, and the loose fit makes it nursing friendly. Alissa has this tee paired with these jeans.

Alissa is wearing a size XS but would have preferred a size small. I ordered the size small in the charcoal gray! This top is definitely nursing friendly due to the functional buttons and could be bump friendly if you size up. Available in several colors! If this item is available in your size, grab it fast! 21. Wayf Plunging Knot Front Top
Alissa is wearing a size small and said this top fits TTS. It is a very flattering fit with the tie at the waist. Perfect for nursing as the v-neck snaps open and shut. Possibly bump friendly for early pregnancy but it isn’t long enough to cover a bump later in pregnancy. Alissa has this top paired with these jeans.
22. Caslon Thermal Henley Top
Alissa is wearing a size medium because size XS and small were sold out in store. The fit is definitely oversized so size down. Perfect for a bump and nursing as the buttons are functional. Available in 3 colors. If you are looking for more affordable henley tops, try this one, this one, or this dupe! Alissa has this henley paired with these jeans.
23. Halogen Crewneck Tee
Alissa is wearing a size small and would say this tee fits TTS. This is a much longer tee than the others! If you are short, like Alissa, I would recommend the BP. Tee or the Caslon Tee. This top would be bump friendly if you size up, especially with the side slits. Not nursing friendly. This tee is available in 5 colors. Alissa has this tee paired with these jeans.

Alissa is wearing a size small in this dress and it fits pretty snug. She would recommend getting your true size or sizing up. This dress would definitely work with a bump if you size up. Available in 2 colors. Alissa paired this dress with this gray cardigan and this pink cardigan.
ASTR V-Neck Crepe Shift Dress
Alissa is wearing a size XS and would prefer a size small – fits TTS. The material isn’t very forgiving so I don’t think it would work with a bump. However, it is very nursing friendly because of the v-neck! Available in 2 colors.
Socialite Tie Waist T-Shirt Dress
Alissa is wearing a size small and would say this dress fits TTS but if between sizes, size down! I think this dress would be great for a bump but it is not nursing friendly.
O’Neill Misty Asymmetrical Dress
Alissa is wearing a size small and would say this dress fits TTS. This is a great option for a late summer/early fall wedding or would even work well with a denim jacket and booties! Great option if you are pregnant however, it is not nursing friendly. Available in 2 colors.
