I have always loved shades of blue…turquoise, seafoam, and minty greens even…but my love for blue has taken on a whole new level of obsession now that I’m figuring out the blue hues for baby Leyton’s room! And this dress is blue and white perfection…from the dressy feel of the fabric, to the demure but eye catching cut out’s in the front and back. That’s why it’s worthy of this edition of Style the Bump!

I fell in love with this dress several months ago at The Swanky Stork in Cahaba Heights.  The brand is Maternal America and I’ve gotten a couple of their dresses now that are in my constant summer rotation for any fun parties or events we have. 🙂

I got these Antelope shoes marked down to 50% off at Leah’s boutique at the end of summer sale last year and have really gotten great wear out of them! Although they’ve sold out online, I found some similar styles below and I’m sure you could find them on ebay as well. They are very comfortable for a 4″ wedge! I even wear them to work and I’m not usually a heels to work kind of gal. My only complaint is that one of the gold screws on the side isn’t tight anymore.

I took these photos a few weeks back with Magen Davis Photography and can’t believe how much bigger the baby belly has gotten since then! I’m so thankful this dress keeps stretching with me and I’m sure it will still be a go-to right after having the baby until I get my pre-baby body back.

Speaking of which, how did you guys manage eating enough for breast feeding while still losing the baby weight? I’d love to hear what tips and tricks you have for this! I’ve already had the Earth Mama/Angel Baby tea recommended to me for milk production so I’d love to hear anything else you think I should know about in this department in the comments below. Thanks in advance!

Shop the Look: Dress: Maternal America from The Swanky Stork | Shoes: Antelopes from Leah’s | Bracelets: E McGarrah Designs found in PB Birmingham | Earrings: J Crew (Similar styles linked below or above!) You look so beautiful – love the dress! I’m glad you told us why your tummy looks a lot smaller – I was wondering what happened to Leyton!! 😉
