A common question I hear is, “How do you go from the gym to meetings or coffee shops, etc while still looking put together?” I think it’s hilarious because half the time, ok ok, more than half the time I go out in my Pure Barre clothes–as I am; over to the coffee shop without thinking twice about it. But, I will say that there are definitely times that I want to look a little more put together and a little cover up for my athleisure wear is nice.

I have plenty of cute long sleeve shirts, cardigans, sweatshirts and hoodies for the winter months to cover up in but the summer months are a little harder to cover up in with the heat of the BLISTERING south. I’ve been on the hunt for a cute kimono to throw on over my athleisure clothes for a while now.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that REP Active Art who makes my cool abstract art yoga pants, also makes these beautiful kimonos that you can wear not 1, but 3+ ways! You can see all the ways I’ve styled it above: Open, a simple knot in the front and twisted and tied around the back to make more of a shirt.

How do you go from gym to put together in nothing flat? I simply throw on some cute earrings, lipstick, different shoes if needed, and a kimono now and call it a day!
