DIY Drawer Organization

My bloggy friend, Jennifer is here to share a little DIY drawer organization hack with you today. I don’t consider myself handy at all so I asked her to bring a little something over to help out my organization and DIY lover’s on the blog. Jennifer is super cute and just a precious soul you’ll want to follow over at Life in the Green House! She is also a Birmingham native and a crafty momma with lots of style.

Hi My Life Well Loved readers! I’m excited to be sharing on Heather’s blog today while she’s away enjoying her lovely vacation! I can’t wait to read all about the fun she is having when she returns.

I have a fun DIY project to share with you today. First, a little background. You won’t find a more type-A person than myself. I thrive in organization and order and chaos makes me a little crazy. Things can’t be in order all of the time, especially with two little ones in the mix, but I have moments when things are organized and all is right.

I also have a pretty amazing husband who is can build anything I dream up. I asked him for a drawer organizer to put some order to my kitchen drawers. I can’t believe I’m sharing this picture with you, it’s really bad. It seemed like no matter how many times I organized this drawer, it always kept coming back to this stage. Over and over.

Yikes! I almost didn’t even share that picture on my blog post, so I was a little hesitant to share it over here. But, y’all! The after picture is well worth it!

In no time, I had an awesome drawer organizer that fit into the space perfect. I’ve now requested them for every single drawer in the house. And the cabinets. Send me all of the organization, actually.

You can click over to my blog and get the full tutorial on this fun little project. The tutorial will actually work to create a great silverware drawer organizer, too!

No doubt, you’ll be hooked after just one and feel the need to add custom drawer organizers to all of your drawers. And all of your friends will want you to build them for them, too. Trust me.
